Iranian missiles breach Israeli air defenses, strike two cities near nuclear facilities
A wave of Iranian missiles penetrated Israel's defenses and struck two southern Israeli cities near a nuclear facility.
The Israeli Ministry of Health stated that 116 people were injured in Arad and 64 in Dimona after ballistic missiles struck the two cities on Saturday night (March 21).
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said it was unaware of any damage to the nuclear research facility, located approximately 13 km from Dimona.
Meanwhile, on Sunday (March 22), the Magen David Adom emergency service reported that at least one person was killed and seven others injured by an Iranian cluster bomb attack in Tel Aviv.
The Israeli Air Force says Tehran has fired 400 missiles towards Israel since the US-Israeli attack on Iran on February 28. Of those, 92% were intercepted.
